Hartsfield Manor wedding – Wedding Photographer Sussex

Hartsfield Manor wedding Betchworth wedding of Nikki and Stuart by Wedding Photographer Sussex

Hartsfield Manor wedding venue in Betchworth welcomed us with a very cold and rainy afternoon, which is not really what every wedding photographer in Sussex hopes for. Although the weather wasn't very nice we both were in great moods and excited to meet Nikki and Stuart. Hartsfield Manor wedding venue is a beautiful Victorian-style building, full of bliss and charm and surrounded by beautiful gardens and it is very inspirational for every wedding photographer in Sussex.

We started as usual by photographing the details. Although it was gloomy and dark outside and there was very little light in the bride preparation room, we decided not to use the flash anyway. It was quite of a challenge for our Nikon cameras because we mostly work on zoom lenses these days. The cameras have done a brilliant job with their superb high ISO.

At every wedding when the bride is ready we love to make some portraits just after make-up and dressing up. We truly believe that this is the moment in which the bride looks most impressive and it is a great opportunity to do lovely portraits with window light.

The ceremony was fulfilled with emotions and at the end of it witnessed a romantic kiss between Stuart and Nikki. Right after the ceremony, the newlyweds signed the papers - it is a great opportunity for the wedding photographer Sussex to take some nice group shots with parents, witnesses and friends standing behind the couple during the mock-up documents signing. We love this moment also because it shows a special bond between families and newlyweds. After the wedding ceremony, we have done the outdoor group shot with all the guests, which wasn't easy because of the low temperature. We would like to say a big thank you for your cooperation the guests were very brave and we were lucky enough that it was not raining.

The bride was almost all the time surrounded by lovely bridesmaids in gorgeous red dresses holding beautiful bouquets.

Because of the cold, the cocktail party was held at the venue, but judging by the good fun the guests did have nobody was bothered by this fact.

It was an unforgettable day, full of emotions and love. The wonderful moments like the spontaneous kisses of the bride and groom or tears shed during the speeches made this day very special for us and we will keep it in our memories for a long time.

Stuart and Nikki, we would like to say big thanks for all the trust you've put in us during the day and that you have been brave enough to go with us outside to take some portraits regardless of the temperature.

Few tips for brides who are considering getting married in Hartsfield Manor wedding venue in Betchworth.

The venue is absolutely stunning inside and outside. It has lovely steps and a big chandelier. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The ceremony room is bright and lovely. There are doors which lead to the back garden of the Manor, which we have considered the best place to do the big group shot. The wedding breakfast is served on the opposite side of the venue to the ceremony room, so everything is nicely separated. We did enjoy shooting in Hartsfield Manor wedding venue in Betchworth and we hope we will come back there very soon. If you would like to know more about the venue, please
