Short description of the Manor Gatehouse wedding venue for the brides to be
Manor Gatehouse is a historic venue built by Henry VIII. The construction started in 1541 and was finished in 1544. Manor House was given as a part of a divorce deal to Anne of Cleves. Originally the building was much larger and the current registry office is located in Gatehouse that remained untouched.
The venue is surrounded by a beautiful garden with lovely wooden benches and some sculptures. The front facade of the Gatehouse is a perfect backdrop for the wedding group shots. There is a maze in front of the building with some flowers. On the back of the building, there is more intimate space for the wedding photographs, unfortunately, on the wedding day it was closed and we couldn't use it for our wedding photographs. The garden on the front is also very beautiful and we capture some really lovely group shots over there.
The staff was very nice and helpful and made our life as wedding photographers much easier. We need to warn you that the car park space is quite limited, so not many guests will be able to park there. There is a much larger free car park just down the road, around 200 yards from the entrance.

We have photographed in many impressive venues like Shangri-la Hotel The Shard Wedding but we think wedding venues like this are best for English weddings.
