A few words from a Luton wedding photographer about the Putteridge Bury wedding venue itself.
Putteridge Bury is a magnificent country house or if you prefer it mansion which belongs to the University of Berkshire and is located in Luton, Bedfordshire. The venue has several rooms of different sizes. The ceremony room located in the left wing is spacious and bright thanks to large windows overlooking the garden. There is also a refreshment room where the guests are served canopies and drinks after the wedding ceremony.
Because the building belongs to the University of Bedfordshire it is full of lovely paintings and has a very special style. Before getting inside the venue by the main entrance you can see a big square, which is a perfect place for some shots with the venue building as a backdrop.
The garden of Putteridge Bury is absolutely stunning and very big. It has lovely trees and flowers and ivory-covered walls. It is a very good spot to take some really lovely portraits of the bride and groom while the guests having their drinks served. It is also very romantic and very English and one of the oaks in the garden was planted by the Prince of Wales in 1926. All the trees in the park are exceptional and we have captured some really lovely photos with them in the background. Coming back inside we have to say that there are many exceptional spots for every wedding photographer working in Putteridge Bury. The stairs are a very good example of how beautiful the interior is. There are also windows creating magnificent light for portraits, which we have used with pleasure.
We think that the Putteridge Bury Luton is a perfect venue for people who love classic English architecture. The building reminds us of the Chequers Court, it has the same distinctive style. Thanks to the vast space of the garden, we could utilise all our wedding photographers' lenses.
Conclusion
Putteridge Bury is a beautiful wedding venue, offering couples an idyllic setting for their special day. From the stunning gardens and mature trees to the historic architecture, this gorgeous venue will make your wedding extra special and memorable.
